Graduation & Recognition:
A Month to Remember
This year’s Graduation and Research Day was a memorable celebration of academic excellence and community. Residents, faculty, and advanced practice providers gathered at Touchdown Terrace to honor our graduating class and recognize outstanding achievements across the department.
The day began with Research Day, where residents and fellows showcased a wide range of innovative and impactful research projects. We were also honored to welcome two distinguished guest speakers, Dr. Elmaraghy from Ohio State and Nationwide Childrens Hospital, and Dr. Alt from the University of Utah (Alumni), who shared valuable insights that inspired lively discussion and professional growth.
The event concluded with a celebratory graduation ceremony, marking an important milestone for our residents as they move forward in their careers. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing all they will achieve.
Dr. Michael Gebhard will be entering a comprehensive practice in St. George, Utah.
Dr. Sina Koochakzadeh will entering a comprehensive practice in Minot, North Dakota.
Dr. Christina Palomo will be entering a Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship under Dr. Sidney Starkman in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dr. Fahad Aldhahri will be staying with us and entering a Rhinology & Skull Base Surgery Fellowship.
