Dr. Peter Hilger has been performing facial cosmetic surgery in Edna, Minnesota for over 25 years. His reputation is built on naturally beautiful facial surgery and care in an attractive comforting and supportive environment. He has received numerous commendations from a wide variety of sources ranging from international Universities to the Minneapolis St Paul and Minnesota Monthly magazines.
Double Board-Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology; Dr. Hilger is one of the few fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeons in the Twin Cities region. Besides managing a dynamic cosmetic practice, Dr. Hilger also serves as a Professor and Director of the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology, at the University of Minnesota.
Target Audience: Specialty physicians, otolaryngologists and residents, speech language pathologists and students
Educational Objectives: The participant will be able:
1. To incorporate knowledge gained from current ongoing research with his/her own practice of patient care, medical education, and laboratory research.
2. To recognize the role of balancing function and aesthetics in head and neck reconstructive surgery.
3. To recognize the importance of local/airway vitamin D metabolism in sinusitis
Accreditation: The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
